Job Description
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Senior Facilities Engineer to join our team specializing in Facilities for our Engine Business Unit in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Oversee the functioning of building systems including electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), structural, mechanical, and fire/life safety, etc.
• Lead project management and oversee contractors for complex facilities renovation projects entailing mechanical, structural, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, and production floor arrangement, etc.
• Document repairs and maintenance completed.
• Facilitate, plan, and protect the facilities interests and guide the construction and the installation of the Process Equipment to successful completion.
• Maintain the Cummins Guidelines and RMEP’s Standards to maintain the look and feel of a well-kept modern facility
• Prepare and present presentations both live and online to various stakeholders
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• A four-year engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering or construction management
• 10 years of Facilities Engineering or Construction Project Management
• Ability to read facility and engineering prints and specifications and work with multiple prime and sub-contractors
• Ability to create purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, reconcile invoices, oversee budgets, perform monthly roll-up, and report results
• Skilled in AutoCAD and MS Office programs including MS Project and Visio
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
