This is an exciting opportunity in Rocky Mount, NC for a Senior Facilities Engineer. In this position you will maintain and repair plant equipment, buildings and grounds.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
* Oversee the functioning of building systems including electrical, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition (HVAC), structural, mechanical, controls, fire / life safety, etc.
* Lead project management and oversee contractors for complex facilities renovation projects entailing mechanical, structural, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Condition (HVAC), electrical, production floor arrangement, etc.
* Document repairs and maintenance completed.
* Coach and mentor less experienced employees.
Experience:
* 5 – 10 years of proven Facilities Engineering experience in a complex Industrial setting.
* Demonstrated experience managing day to day facilities as well as Managing Projects and Contractors.
* Must have a strong understanding on Electrical Systems.
* Experience with Control Systems, Distribution Systems, High Voltage (<115 kV) and Energy Management is required.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
* College, university, or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is preferred.
* Preference for a Certified Energy Management Professional.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base Salary commensurate with experience.
