Full-Time Senior Copywriter
Job Description
Manifest is looking for a Senior Copywriter. A writer’s writer who understands the power of words and can wield them across a wide range of media. Someone who understands the role words will play in a bigger strategic picture as you develop campaigns and bring fresh thinking to the table. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow as a copywriter and wants to create work that is unmistakable. This role is based in NYC.
Responsibilities
- Think conceptually and push ideas without losing sight of the strategy.
- Have a keen editorial eye for crossing the i’s and dotting the t’s.
- Add value across a range of current and prospective clients.
- Write, write, write. Own everything from websites and video to print publications.
- Collaborate with Art Directors, Strategists, Engagement Managers and more, with grace and ease.
- Thrive in an environment where every day brings a different challenge.
- Take pride in going the extra mile.
- Be creative, conceptual, clever, courageous, and consistent.
- Don’t be a total dork in front of the clients. (Partial dorks will be considered.)
Requirements
- 5-9 years of copywriting experience in advertising or content marketing.
- Portfolio of interesting work across platforms.
- Creative awards are nice, too.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Advertising, or a related field preferred.
- Portfolio School a plus but not required.
