We are currently hiring for the position of:
SENIOR COORDINATOR, INDUSTRY SALES & PROMOTIONS
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Industry Sales + Services, the Senior Coordinator of Industry Sales and Promotions is accountable for managing relationships with film organizations looking to promote their content, talent, and initiatives at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival. This promotion consists of, but is not limited to, advertising and stand sales, private events and screenings as well as collaborative partnership opportunities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draft pitches and proposals for various promotional opportunities in relation to sales prospects and inquiries
- Conduct contractual negotiations with national promotional agencies, sales agents, distributors, film commissions, and trade publications..
- Sell advertising across all industry locations, including digital assets
- Manage Industry Selects and Private Screening initiatives from a sales, bookings and presentation perspective
- Liaise with internal teams to produce and deliver industry partner programming initiatives
- Coordinate a portfolio of select industry partner accounts and ensure all terms of agreements are fulfilled with the highest level of service
- Coordinate with internal production teams to deliver pay-to-play programming on behalf of industry partners, national agencies, film commissions and trade partners.
- Coordinate Industry Selects and Private Screening initiatives from a sales, bookings and presentation perspective.
- Onboard and manage seasonal direct reports
- Attend Festival production meetings
- Provide a detailed post mortem
JOB GRADE & RATE OF PAY
- Job Grade 2
- $22.16/Hourly
CONTRACT DATES OR START DATE:
- June 20, 2022 – September 23
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 1 years experience managing staff and delegating responsibilities
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with customer relations management systems both on-line and off-line
- Minimum of 2 years experience negotiating sales contracts
- Knowledge of domestic and international distribution, sales activities, national promotional agency networks, funding practices, co-productions and international film festivals and markets
- Experience dealing with domestic and international clientele
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience dealing directly with vendor and supplier relationship
- Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
- Ability to speak additional languages considered an asset
