Full-Time Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting – 2100011L
Job Description
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Preparing and filing the necessary monthly, quarterly and annual forms with the Bureau of Economic Analysis and U.S. Census Bureau
• Preparing and posting monthly journal entries to general ledger and preparing monthly account reconciliations for assigned
• Creating various Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) reports as needed
• Responding to inquiries received from management, internal and external auditors, Sarbanes-Oxley audit group and others regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc.
• Reviewing existing internal controls on a regular basis and developing new internal controls as necessary
• Analyzing current procedures and recommending changes to develop and implement best practice accounting procedures
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification either completed or in the process of completion
• 2 + years of relevant experience at a large public accounting firm or multinational corporation
• Have previous experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle or SAP and strong Excel experience
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
