| Retail Coordinator Location: Kohler, WI Opportunity Are you passionate and driven when it comes to retail? Does overseeing shipments of new products interest you? If so, then the position of Retail Coordinator at The Emporium may be for you! Specific responsibilities include: - Verifying contents against vendors packing lists or other receiving documents
- Assisting retail leaders in preparing purchase orders and entering product into Dataworks inventory system
- Generating pricing materials
- Ensuring logoed merchandise meets Kohler Co. branding guidelines / standards
- Work directly with vendors on return of defective or unacceptable goods, errors, pricing, duplicate or partial shipments
- Assist in control of direct operating expenses by maintaining appropriate levels for all controllable supplies
- Preparing for and participating in physical inventory count and reconciliation
- Leading in the restocking of merchandise and cleanliness of outlet
- Responsible for displays, fixture arrangement and overall appearance of the outlet
- Greeting, welcoming and assisting all guests on their purchasing needs and educate them on the products and services provided
- Cashiering and finalizing the Sale: opening and closing of register, ringing sales (cash, credit card, gift certificate, room charges etc.), processing coupons, discounts, markdowns, and end-of-day reports
- Assisting in the training of new Retail Associates
This is a Full Time position, working weekdays & weekends. Hours are primarily from 9:30am to 6:30pm.This position will support are the Kohler Shops at Woodlake and Scentualities. Skills/Requirements - Minimum of 2 years previous retail experience required with previous experience in receiving and inventory
- High school diploma or equivalency required, Associates degree preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- The ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift and to lift up to 50 pounds
- Candidate must have good communication skills, work well with diverse teams and have the ability to work independently with strong time management skills
- Ability to obtain Liquor License to sell/beverage training
