Jefferson Healthcare is looking for a per diem Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Emergency Department, Acute Care, Intensive Care, and Family Birth Units. Your top priority will be providing patient-focused care and serving as a resource to all departments as needed and may be scheduled to work in one unit for an entire shift or help in multiple departments throughout the day.
As a crucial member of the patient care team, you will provide nursing care that is adapted to the individual patient’s needs based on the nursing process. Your team will depend on you to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met. You may also delegate or indirectly supervise the support nursing staff that participates in the provision of care.

What you’ll need:
- Current Washington State RN license in good standing
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS or NRP Required.
- Advanced current certification required or preferred for specific patient populations:
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Trauma Nurse Care Course (TNCC), American Nurses Assoc. Med-Surg., Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Certified Nurse Operation Room (CNOR), Mother-Friendly, Wound Care, Procedural Sedation, Chemotherapy, Anti-coagulation therapy management, Oncology, Hospice and Palliative Nursing
- 2 year’s experience in either ICU/ED or L&D required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Schedule: per diem; 0-16 hours/week; variable shift
