Job Description
As a Sr. Security Architect your primary role will be as a Subject Mater Expert on diverse and challenging engagements with clients. You will be responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of current and next generation security solutions and related technologies.

Responsibilities and Duties
What you’ll do:
• Serve as the subject matter expert for advanced security solutions.
• Participate in the specification of customer requirements and implementation plans.
• Architecting and implementing complex security infrastructure solutions
• Enterprise Networks and Network Security Architecture and Design using architectural and configuration best practices
• Mentor other resources and at times act as a lead for your team.
• Assist sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer meetings and presentations.
• Provide level 3 technical support on network security problem resolution
• Assist in upgrading network security systems and infrastructure
• Provide oversite to security network add moves and changes
• Providing preventive and reactive measure to ensure network security best practices and standards
• developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices
• developing and providing training
Qualifications and Skills
What you’ll need to join:
• A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or demonstrated performance in a technical work environment working with Security technologies in an enterprise environment including but not limited to Lan/Wan, Remote access, Perimeter security, and Data Center technologies.
• A current CCIE certification (completed- written and lab) in Security/ Switching/ Routing
• Minimum eight years of experience architecting, designing and implementing advanced network and/or network security solutions
• Previous consulting/professional services experience
• Strong ability to cultivate relationships with clients, *** teammates, and partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate both technical and abstract concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Effective multi-tasking skills
• Ability to execute in a methodical manner to gather, document, and present specific customer requirements as well as articulate technical solutions
• Exceptional documentation skills that can clearly articulate technical designs, issues and constraints, procedures, and network assessments
• Strong analytical and problem determination/resolution skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills regarding technical and non-technical concepts
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish professional working relationships with varying levels of both business and technical personnel
• Self-directed to complete tasks in both a professional and timely manner with minimal supervision

Advanced knowledge that includes, but is not limited to:
• Solid understanding of network design and implementing enterprise security architecture solutions including next generation firewalls, next generation intrusion prevention systems, web proxies, mail proxies etc.
• Comprehension of networking concepts including network design principles, data flow determination, routing, switching, VLANs, IP addressing, spanning-tree, etc.
• Solid understanding of network utility services including TFTP, FTP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, SYSLOG, etc.
• Familiarity with network scanning/analysis procedures and toolsets for network readiness assessments
• Understanding of security best practice with respect to advanced networking technologies and solutions including IPV6, MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, OSPF, multicast, policy-based routing, ether-channel, QoS, traffic-shaping, load balancing, VPN tunnels, WAN Optimization, etc.
• Understanding of advanced data center networking security technologies and solutions. Including micro segmentation best practices and technologies.
• Design, implementation and operation of high-availability and multi-layer secure network infrastructures
• Multi factor authentication methods and standards for VPN, 802.1x, Wireless, etc.
• Cloud based security designs and authentication methods
• Cisco Client knowledge and experience with emphasis on architecture design, configuration, and implementation best practices
• Technical knowledge of Firewalls, Intrusion protection systems, and Intrusion detection systems.
• Technical knowledge of Next Generation security systems of Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet etc.
Demonstrated experience with the following:
• Support Consulting Problem resolution
• Participating in client-facing technical calls regarding Security Standards
• Developing the scope and price for complex network Security solutions
• Creating proposals, RFP responses and statements of work
