Full-Time Registration and Logistics Coordinator
Job Description
Summary:
The American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) is seeking a detailed orientated and customer-centric Registration and Logistics Coordinator to support the Programs & Conferences team. The position will serve the AAPT members while collaborating with internal staff and consultants.
This versatile role will be responsible for coordinating AAPT meetings and ensuring the quality of pre-meeting preparation, on-site logistics, registration, and online program content meets expectations. Your support will result in the successful execution of a variety of association meetings and events.
*This role is currently 100% remote and will eventually switch back to our office environment as AAPT continues to respond to the coronavirus, government mandates and considers the best action to keep the AAPT staff safe.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent is required with a minimum of one year experience in the meetings and logistics industry. Some College preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communications are essential.
- Knowledge of association management database systems (preferred; iMIS, RISE, Open Water, Lyris, Informz, Crystal Reports, ISG Project and iWEB builder).
- Able to travel out of state to national meetings two times per year and for the New Faculty Workshop held locally (post COVID-19).
*The position is currently operating in a telework capacity until approximately June 2021.
