Recruitment plays a fundamental part in our talent agenda and our businesses ability to provide a market leading services to our clients globally. As a Recruiter within our high performing team, you will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers, HR Business Partner’s and Recruiting Administration/Ops to seek out, assess, attract and hire the best talent – both internally and externally.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to establish recruitment strategy for open positions
  • Source and screen/interview both internal and external applicants, making recommendations to managers.
  • Proactively sourcing direct candidates, utilizing established tools including LinkedIn whilst creatively using innovative techniques.
  • Manage applicant flow from beginning of process (open requisition) to end (hire chosen applicant and reject all others), communicating with managers, HR Business Partners and candidates throughout the process.
  • Managing offer process, understanding the nuances of differing US markets and complex compensation structures.
  • Work with D&I partners, to ensure BNY Mellon is positioned as an employer of choice and increase the pipeline of diverse talent for our open roles
  • Administratively manage recruitment process from end to end via ATS (Taleo).
  • Manage underutilization of specific requisitions by recording good faith efforts within ATS (Taleo)
  • Facilitate internal mobility through BNY Mellon My Career, which will includes career counseling
  • Represents BNY Mellon at events including – career fairs, campus events etc
  • Act as liaison with agencies/search firms for all agency/search firm activity.
  • Facilitate New Employee Orientation (“Welcome to BNY Mellon”) when needed

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

Successful Candidate Demonstrate/Possess:

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and simple manner to a variety of audiences
  • Intellectual curiosity; desire to constantly learn and continuously improve
  • Excellent ability to establish, develop, and maintain trust-based relationships with clients
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in an in house/RPO/MSP Recruitment role
  • Financial Services experience preferred but not essential
