DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Quality Director – Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies to join our Eaton Cummins joint venture team specializing in Automated Transmission Technologies. This is a remote role with a preference for Michigan and Indiana.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Leads Global quality and warranty goals and improvements for Eaton Cummins joint venture.
• Works with Eaton or Cummins on executing the service contract to achieve goals through influence on parent organizations.
• Leads financial ownership for warranty and quality for Eaton Cummins join venture.
• Leads the quality and warranty improvement goals and objectives.
• Leads and coordinates the use of a common continuous improvement project selection and priority setting process.
• Plans, leads, tracks, and measures the continuous improvement progress and its effect on business results.
• Leads functional teams and cross-business unit/ABO teams to drive improvements impacting key measures of the business.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role with five years in a Quality leadership role for a global organization.
• Action oriented – Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
• Politically savvy, comfortable with high level of ambiguity, managing conflict well, excellent ability to negotiate and influence.
• Proven track record in leading global cross functional teams to produce significant, measurable results.
• Experience in the automotive and/or heavy-duty mobility manufacturing market preferred.
• Expert in Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, New Product Development Quality, • Quality Systems implementation (ISO, COS, etc.), Operational Excellence, etc.
• Outstanding problem solving, judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required.
