We are looking for a talented Purchasing Leader, Fuel Cell & Hydrogen to join our team specializing in fuel cell power systems technology for our New Power Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Leads the purchasing for the fuel cell system and electrolyzer products currently produced at three sites in Canada and Europe.

* Develops and leads global purchasing teams.

* Manages sourcing, quality, plant liaison, and business continuity planning within a business unit, commodity group, or international region to ensure continuity of supply.

* Ensures purchasing activities reflect diverse requirements and overall business goals, as well as complies with all regulatory standards.

 

Builds strong supplier relationships and encourages a high level of supplier collaboration and delivery.

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Procurement/Sourcing, or any other related fields or Engineering degree with related work experience.

* Minimum eight to ten years in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.

* Solid understanding of the full supply chain system and operation in a manufacturing environment.

* Professional certification(s) tied to Supply Chain related specialties (CPIM, CSCMP) and/or Procurement (CPSM, CPP, etc.) are considered an asset.

* Experience in performance improvement, process re-engineering, cost reduction, supply chain improvement and other transformation initiatives.

* Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
