Full-Time Publication and Data Lead Neurology
Job Description
To strengthen the U.S. Neurology Team based in the Smyrna, Georgia, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Publication and Data Lead
The Publication and Data Lead develops, maintains, and applies an appropriate level of disease/therapeutic area/product knowledge to serve as a valuable resource/partner to internal and external stakeholders. The primary responsibility of the Publication and Data Lead will be leading the development of the strategic publications plan and managing the execution of the plan.
You like to work in an environment where you can:
- Manage publication planning, review, approval and sign-off with UCB’s publication management software.
- Drive the development of the strategic publications plan for the US including all stakeholders to gain relevant insight.
- Develop and maintain deep understanding of therapeutic area and product knowledge.
- Establish relationships and build credibility with internal and external customers based on exchange related to development of publications.
You will contribute by:
- Critically reviewing publications to assess overall quality and ensuring that UCB-sponsored publications are published to the highest standards, that all authors and contributors comply with individual journal or congress guidelines.
- Providing medical writing support of abstracts, posters, manuscripts, standard response letters and other content development as needed.
- Engaging in the planning, coordination, and execution of publications-related congress activities.
- Managing vendor relationships, as appropriate and leads planning and execution of Medical Publications Initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
- MD, PharmD or PhD degree.
- 3+ years of Medical Affairs experience including publications experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant therapeutic area (epilepsy) experience strongly preferred
- Proficient literature searching skills
