Full-Time Psychology Resident – 1 Year Position
Job Description
The Residency Program at ACG is a one-year full-time position which runs July 1 to June 30 each year.
AIDS Care Group (ACG) treats the whole person, bringing together medical and psychological services in a team-based approach to effectively care for individuals with chronic conditions. The aims of the residency program are three-fold: residents are first and foremost provided advanced training in clinical psychology, with the skills to provide psychotherapy to a wide array of individuals recovering from co-occurring psychological and health conditions. Beyond this, the residency program provides advanced training in integrative medicine, as well as addiction treatment.

Requirements
Applicants are required to have completed either a PsyD or PhD in clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program. Applicants are also required to successfully complete an APA accredited clinical internship and have some prior coursework or clinical experience within the scope of integrative medicine/health psychology and/or addiction.
While not an explicit focus of the residency, the individuals served at ACG by in large have extensive histories of trauma. We expect residents to have an interest in working with complex trauma and PTSD, and some prior experience working with individuals who have experienced childhood trauma.
