If you have an outgoing personality, a solid work ethic, and are willing to learn, then this is the position for you! Previous radio promotion assistant experience is preferred, but if you can demonstrate passion for the role, we will teach you radio. Bilingual Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply.
Dependable transportation, clean driving record and proof of insurance are requirements for this position.
Essential Duties: Promotion Assistants are responsible for the overall success of radio station off-site events. Responsibilities include representing the radio station in a professional manner at all times. You will interact with the general public, clients and station personnel during events. You will be responsible for the set-up and breakdown of station promotional equipment which includes banners, tents, balloons, prize wheels, and station communication equipment. You must keep promotional areas and station vehicles organized and clean, and safely drive station vehicles while obeying traffic laws.
Requirements: Be available to work varied hours including evenings and weekends. Have the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to fifty pounds of equipment. Maintain an active driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must be eighteen years of age or older. Have working knowledge of electronics and phone communications equipment. Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as outgoing personality and good organizational skills.
