Full-Time Project Production Supervisor – 2000011X

No, this isn’t one of those ordinary jobs.

 

If you are driven and motivated to become part of a dynamic team, we have an opening for a Project Production Supervisor in Mississauga, ON.  Reporting to the Manager, Production & Facilities, you will supervise production and assembly for Hydrogen related Projects with different levels of complexity.

 

Your responsibilities may include:

* Manage, develop and lead the daily activities of multiple team members working on multiple projects.

* Work cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality and efficiency of operations.

* Provide guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarify responsibilities.

* Ensure project team members have the material, tools and knowledge required to accomplish their tasks.

* Schedule and ensure optimal staffing levels for efficient production.

* Operate process equipment and other process operations in a safe and efficient manner.

* Report key production initiatives against target values on a hourly, daily, weekly, monthly basis.

* Pursue ongoing goal of cost reductions.

* Ensure all safety and processing procedures are followed.

 

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

 

* Post Secondary education.

 

Experience:

 

* Previous experience leading a diverse team towards common project goals.

* Proven experience using an ERP system.

* ability to read and interpret drawings.

* Strong understanding of and ability to coordinate Bill of Materials (BOM).

* Previous electrical / mechanical assembly experience is considered an asset.

* Possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.

* Previous exposure to Hydrogen Fuel Cell and / or Hydrogen Electrolyser assembly is considered an asset.
