We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager who will be responsible for managing, developing and implementing multiple projects of varying complexity and size for the introduction in production of existing and new filtration programs within manufacturing engineering and participate in continuous improvement projects for our Components Business Unit in Quimper, France.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Lead multiple projects, facilitate project planning sessions with cross-functional internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project, work with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals.
• Design project plan, develop timeline, identify project milestones, and track performance, and monitor and communicate project status to project team.
• Plan and monitor project budget and manage project risk by using quality tools to identify areas of risk and work with other stakeholders to identify alternatives or solutions.
• Identify and assign appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks, guide, support and coach team members through various stages of the project and provide developmental feedback to team members.
• Participate in the RFQ process for existing and new product development with Business Account Managers.
• Select and ensure installation of manufacturing equipment which meets the Cummins manufacturing specifications and meets the project or program needs.
• Maintain project notes, databases, and other records, monitor measures and communicates with management on status of specific projects and assignments.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Engineering University degree and previous work experience as project manager or engineer within manufacturing environment are required, preferably in automotive industry.
• French and English language knowledge both verbal and written on professional level is a must.
• Previous experience working with FMEA, DFMA and other automotive quality standards is highly desired.
• Previous experience in deployment of advanced manufacturing technology (AR, VR, Digital Twin, IoT, Cobots, 3D print, Artificial Intelligence etc.) is highly desired.
