We are looking for a talented Project Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Distribution Business in De Pere, WI.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Apply specialized knowledge with product focus of engineering principles and design practices to create optimized design concepts and mechanical design specifications considering application, cost, weight, performance, reliability, durability, manufacturing, assembly, and serviceability.
• Work with 3D CAD (Creo experience preferred) models and 2D drawings/schematics of parts, subassemblies and top level assemblies and maintain data in PLM system (Windchill preferred).
• Complete design work and provide leadership to all aspects of medium/large sized projects with little supervision.
• Gather information and perform validation calculations on engine subsystems (air intake, exhaust, cooling ,etc) to verify systems meet requirements within Cummins tools (Advisor).
• Use sound engineering judgment in selection of materials/validation of designs. Also, act as a mentor to help guide the balance of the design team
• Release engineering drawings/documents/BOM’s to balance of organization using engineering release process.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
• Ability to acquire licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making. Knowledge of MS Office and CREO tools is preferred.
• A minimum of 5+ years previous engineering experience with project management experience. Understanding of stationary or mobile engine installations preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
