For Over 30 years, A Window Between World’s (AWBW) mission has been to empower individuals and communities impacted by violence and trauma through a transformative healing arts program with a trauma informed approach. AWBW’s views art as a catalyst to release trauma, build resilience and ignite social change. AWBW’s trainings and curriculum support organizations globally throughout 5 countries with over 76,000 individuals participated in trainings and workshops all of who have had the opportunity to take a window of time to notice their thoughts, needs and feelings and be reminded about their resilience.

Does supporting people in reaching their art facilitation goals sound good to you? If so, you might be our next Program Manager and we’d love to hear from you!
As the Program Manager, you’ll be at the helm of a vibrant community of innovators, bringing healing art workshops to their communities around the country and abroad. In partnership with the Program Director, you’ll provide comprehensive engagement and support for our Windows Facilitators and actively manage events, outreach, communications, data, program fees and more.
Position Title: Program Manager
Position Type: Full-Time, Benefited, Non-Exempt, Hourly
Compensation: $21.00 – $31.25 DOE

Location: Remote, however, California residents preferred
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Facilitator Stewardship and Support (20%)
- Support facilitator and sector development through routine check-ins with specific attention to people who are newly-trained and in growing sectors
- Provide comprehensive support via email, phone and virtual office hours
- Support strategic outreach and engagement for facilitator events and story cultivation
- Distribute facilitator incentives, gratitude cards and other materials
- Routinely monitor Story Share portal and workshop logs, identify viable stories and support with story and photo editing
Outreach and Program Retention (20%)
- Assist outreach and collection of subscription fees and assist with tracking revenue
- Assist the Program Director with retention and sustainability strategies
Event Coordination and Facilitation (20%)
- Track RSVPs, attendance records, email communication and outreach efforts
- Draft agendas and organize planning meetings with AWBW staff and consultants
- Co-facilitate and provide technical support during events
- Review survey feedback and summarize developments
Community of Practice Communications (20%)
- Draft bi-monthly newsletters and other email announcements
- Monitor email performance and update email list
Record Maintenance and Reports (20%)
- Maintain records in FileMaker, CMS, Google Suite, Constant Contact and Box server
- Assist with projects including but not limited to Facilitator and partner agency information, collaboration agreements, annual subscription fees, event surveys, mid year surveys, participant evaluations and annual evaluations, written procedures and provide quantitative and qualitative data
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Two (2) years’ experience as a Program Manager or similar position which includes responsibilities with facilitation with workshops, coordination of events, communication with photo editing and graphic design for flyers, newsletters preferred but not required
- Two (2) years’ experience with MailChimp, Google Suite, FileMaker, Constant Contact and Box preferred but not required
- High School Diploma preferred but not required
- Knowledge of trauma informed care and/or mental wellness practices preferred but not required
- Experience working with a remote workplace preferred but not required
