Job Description
The Urban Future Lab is a cleantech innovation center founded in 2009 out of the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. We run several programs all focused on Climate Change solutions. The biggest is the ACRE incubator where we help companies with market ready solutions get to scale. We’re also home to three accelerator programs – the H2 Refuel Program focused on early-stage hydrogen technology startups, the Carbon to Value Initiative, which helps companies who are capturing CO2 emissions, and lastly the Global Incubator Programme which brings cleantech startups from the UK to the New York Market. We also run a diploma program through NYU called Clean Start that teaches career changers about clean energy.
The new Program Manager will help to source, vet and support companies in the ACRE incubator as well as some of our accelerator programs. They will also engage with program funders to structure and design global calls for innovation and programmatic support for cohorts of companies. Activities will include stakeholder engagement, program design, startup recruitment, curriculum development and implementation, introductions to investors and customers and reporting to funders.
