Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in Packaging department (Finished Goods production Packing).


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Inspects product to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup & adjustments of machines
  • Monitors productions schedule and estimates worker hour requirement for job completion.
  • Implement department and company policies & procedures.
  • Adheres to safety requirements
  • Conducts department meetings on a daily basis, documents topics
  • Assigns work to employees based on procedures & specifications.
  • Distributes and monitors rotation sheets, by department.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product and EBIT drivers.
  • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, work crew and foster employee empowerment.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
  • Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
  • Assist in maintaining time and production records.
  • Investigates employee issues immediately, and recommends resolutions.
  • Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.




  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Microsoft Office, Outlook Computer skills
