Full-Time PRODUCTION SCHEDULING COORDINATOR – LEVEL III

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Production Scheduling Coordinator – Level III to join our team specializing in Sales and Service for our Distribution Segment in Jefferson, Louisiana.

 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Under minimal supervision and in accordance with Cummins Delegation of Authority Policy, plans and establishes production schedules to meet customer demand.

* Develop production schedules in accordance with sales forecast, plant and employee capacity, and new business opportunities.

* Comply with Heath, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) standards, policies, procedures & regulations and engages in HS&E training

* Support the creation of a capable (realistic and aligned) daily, weekly, or monthly production schedule for designated products or lines while understanding the risks (downtime, material shortage, etc.) and minimizes impact on the production schedule.

* Remain flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals

* Participate in improvement (quality, safety, process, material flow, etc.) projects.

 

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations; college, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.

* Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience in an equivalent field such as materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or inventory control

* Manages complexity – making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems

* Customer focus – building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

 

Compensation and Benefits

 

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
