DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Product Systems Validation Engineer to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Power Systems Business Unit in Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Develops product systems validation plans from a variety of inputs to identify failure modes, while managing product risk and relative
• Solves product problems using a process that protects the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; and identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.
• Compares analytical and experimental results and resolves differences to maintain calibrated analytical models; generates experimental testing plans that deliver optimal analysis and test coverage.
• Mitigates potential product failure modes, by identifying interfaces, functions, functional requirements, interactions, control factors, noise factors, and prioritized potential failure modes and potential failure causes for the system of interest
• Uses appropriate methods and tools to translate stakeholder needs into verifiable requirements to which designs are developed; establishes acceptance criteria for the system of interest through analysis, allocation and negotiation
• Identifies and analyzes the interfaces and interactions across system boundaries by specifying the requirements and limits to ensure that the product meets requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• BS degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline area
• 5+ years of prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience
• Prior experience with exhaust manifolds, turbochargers, or intake components, system and component ownership for validation of air handling components
• Experience with management of requirements and DVP&R in Integrity

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
