Full-Time Product Associate
Job Description

Our team strives to continue to provide optimum service to meet the needs of our growing membership. We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our product development group.
Under the supervision of the Manager – Product Development & Pricing, the position assumes the responsibilities for the daily operations of the product development group. The primary function is to maintain the database with correct and timely pricing and product information.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Updates database with new product offerings, pricing, and product disposition
- Updates full line price change information from various sources
- Maintains systems product structure, categories, and coding
- Maintains pricing models and pricing matrix
- Tracks inventory devaluation
- Sets up new lines, categories, pricing models
- Confirms pricing and product status, creates contract specials, and generates/loads specials pricing
- Investigates and resolves price variances on purchase order/receiving discrepancies
- Creates various reports for stakeholders and publications
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or related field is considered an asset
- A minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar role
- Inventory/database management knowledge and experience considered an asset
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Office applications (Outlook, etc.)
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following:
- Strong aptitude for numbers and strong analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume environment with multiple deadlines
- Detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity while maintaining the confidentiality of all organizational related matters
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
