THE ROLE
We are looking for a producer with a background in festivals, live events or the arts, and a strong track record in developing new work through partnership with civic or private clients and collaborations with artists and communities.
An exceptional communicator, you’ll have an eye for opportunity, and an entrepreneurial flair. You will support and work alongside a wide range of people in a fast-moving environment committed to making contemporary outdoor arts and events in public space, site-responsive performance and installations, and participatory arts activities.
Our work includes civic and cultural celebrations of varying scales, festivals, site-specific and touring performances and installations, parades and processions, signature events for cities – such as the opening for European Capitals of Culture; fire and fireworks shows; training schools, workshops and other learning programmes; and work with children and young people.
The successful candidate will be comfortable switching between programmes of work as wide ranging as this and applying their skills across the company’s full portfolio.
ACCESSIBILITY:
Walk the Plank is committed to equal opportunities, and is Disability Confident Committed Employer, a Living Wage Employer, a Mental Health Aware Employer and a Creative Access Employer Partner.
