Full-Time Procurement Assistant

This Role…

This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration between Lintbells and our suppliers – ensuring we maintain 100% availability on ingredients and packaging

What you need to deliver…

• Review stock positions with the buying team and raise purchase orders for ingredients, packaging, and consumable purchasing.

• Book in purchase orders onto Sage for ingredients, packaging, and consumable purchasing

• Working with our suppliers to ensure our shipments are delivered on time and in full

• Be responsible for Sage system housekeeping including closing work orders and updating bill of materials as required

• Support with stock transfers; creating delivery notes, booking in all goods in, transferring packaging and ingredients between warehouses. Supporting on monthly stock counts

• Deal with the day-to-day relationship with our suppliers – ensuring they are adhering to our SLA’s & KPI’s and resolving any issues that arise collaboratively. This includes working closely with the logistic departments at our suppliers so that we secure safe and timely deliveries.

• Support on ad-hoc procurement tasks.

• Support others members of the operations team as and when required.

What you need to succeed…

• Experience with using Excel is essential

• Experience with using Sage or other accounting/MRP systems is desired but not essential

• Great communication skills

• You drive to make things happen, using initiative and logic like a true ‘self-starter’

• You demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• You are a team player – we’re a close-knit team!

• You have outstanding planning and time management skills and able to prioritise workload

• You are enthusiastic and willing to challenge the status quo.
