Job Description
Client is seeking a highly motivated process analytics engineer. Closely working with engineers/scientists in MS&T Process Analytics & Engineering – Data Analytics, you will develop advanced data analytics methods on complex data. Through this role, you will gain experience on the application of data analytics to biologics and pharmaceutical manufacturing, exposure on the use of different analytical tools to analyze complex datasets, and work in a diverse cross-functional team.
Key Deliverables:
• Develop models for real-time multivariate process monitoring
• Maintain existing modeling platforms
• Develop advanced data analytics methods to transform manufacturing/lab data into actionable proactive insights
• Data engineering, data analysis, data visualization, modeling and prediction
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor with 5+ years of direct work experience, or Master with 2+ years of direct work experience, or PhD, in engineering or science
• Understand Process Flow Diagram (PFD) or Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)
• Basic knowledge in Biologics, Chemical Engineering, Data Science and Statistics
• Strong communication skills: Oral/Written
Preferred Skillsets and Experience:
• Experience in one or more of the following advanced data analytics skills such as Chemometrics, Process Analytics Technology (PAT), Clustering, Classification, Regression, Principle Component Analysis (PCA), Partial Least Squares (PLS), Machine Learning, Neural Network, etc.
• Experience with some of the following: SIMCA, SIMCA-online, PI Historian, PI Process Book, Seeq, Excel, JMP, Discoverant, R, Matlab, and Python
• Experience in manufacturing process time series data, images, and spectra data.
• Technical knowledge of biologics manufacturing operations such as cell culture, recovery, and purification.
