The Preschool Instructor provides supervision, instruction and motivation for preschool aged children. Provides a quality experience to students and parents focused on YMCA core values: Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Caring.
You will use your skills to:
- Monitor the facility and ensure a safe, positive and fun environment
- Prepare class lesson plans with a natural progression of appropriate skills for the abilities and ages of the classes.
- Monitor student progress in all classes. Report progress to the Youth Director and inquiring parents.
- Assist the Preschool program in answering parent questions and concerns, and enforce all safety rules and regulations of the gym.
- Finish each class with a fun group activity.

Are you a good fit?
- You are committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
- You have experience working with preschool-aged children.
- You have knowledge and experience in teaching gymnastics and or/ years of personal gymnastics experience.
- You are able to demonstrate a friendly, courteous and professional manner while working with members, parents and staff.
- You have a positive attitude and previous experience with youth and diverse populations.
- Able and willing to complete Child Abuse Prevention training on first day and other online or in-person training as required.
Starting Wage: $14.49+/hour – depending on experience
Hours: Part Time – Up to 25 hours per week
