DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Power Generation Field Service Technician / Certified Electrician to join our team specializing in generator repairs for our sales and service locations in Pasco, WA.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Completing preventative maintenance and repairs on generators or components at the customer site with minimal direction.
* Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
* Applying the use of specialized tools and following documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and tools.
* Completing required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
* Completing training in line with skill and business requirements.
* Adhere to all our relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Must possess Washington State Electrician Certificate. Minimum requirement of EL07 Non-Residential Specialty Certificate or EL01 Journey Level Certificate
* Position requires regular travel throughout eastern Washington to customer sites and occasional travel out of area. Company vehicle provided for travel within territory
* Position can be located in areas of Pasco, Spokane or Yakima in eastern Washington
* The regular schedule for this position will be 7am – 4pm Mon-Fri. This schedule is subject to change based on business needs. Must be willing to work overtime
* Flexibility to work various hours and days of the week with the ability to be on call and available for emergency needs
* Must meet all requirements to drive a Company vehicle including a valid driver’s license and insurance
* Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally, wear required personal protective equipment as required
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
