Job Description
We are looking for a PLM Technical Analyst to join our team specializing in Information Technology for our Cummins Corporate business segment. This role can be in your remote home office, Columbus, IN or Shoreview, MN.
The Product Capability Team enables Cummins growth by improving the management of products throughout their lifecycle. We accomplish this by creating improved tools and processes that align with our product strategy. We will be successful when our product data is accurate, reliable and available, has a consistent definition, is reliably managed and our valuable intellectual property is protected.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Responsible for Configuring and/or Customizing PLM and allied applications in compliance with coding standards and technical design.
* Determine feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions; Understand business needs and know how to configure or customize the tools to manage them.
* Leverage re-usability of component designs to reduce costs and shorten time to deliver solution.
* Coordinate unit, system and integration level test plans, execution, and documentation of results.
* Provide oversight of vendor resources, foster Built-In Quality and Technical Agility; Adopt new mindsets and habits in how work is delivered.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* At least 5 years of hands on experience in configuring and/or customizing PLM Software and integration to planning/execution systems.
* Windchill PLM, Creo Integration experience is a plus
* Proficiency in Java, JSP, JSON, XML, Ant
* Experience with PLM/Windchill Software upgrade
* Knowledge of Cloud based Infrastructure and technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) is a plus
* Experience working in a Dev Ops and Agile practices is a plus
* Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices and project planning/execution skills including estimating and scheduling
* College, university, or equivalent bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant related field is required.

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
