Job Description
We are looking for a talented Plant Materials & Logistics Manager to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Components Business Unit in Cookeville, TN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Responsibilites include management of all buying, planning, shipping, receiving & warehouse operations
• Ensures internal and external customers’ expectations and requirements are met while ensuring supply chain optimization
• Manage daily operations across logistics functions to ensure a dependable and efficient supply chain
• Lead continuous improvement projects that align with Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence direction and leverage common processes tools, and information systems
• Manage, coach, and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning
To be successful in this rolez you will need the following:
• Bachelors degree in related field
• 5-10+ years of relevant work experience required that may include previous supply chain, logistics or warehouse managment
• Proven leadership experience to include directly managing and developing teams
• Prior project management experience that may include implementations or continous improvement projects
• MS Office and Oracle R12
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
