Job Description
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Plant Controller to join our team specializing in Finance for our Power Systems department. This role is based in Elkhart, IN and will be onsite 4 days a week with one remote workday available.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Being responsible for all accounting, budgeting, financial controls, and costs for the plant, and participating as a member of the leadership team to drive key business metrics, providing input into development of business strategies, and support for new business development
• Managing development of a strong control environment across the key business cycles and working with business partners to ensure processes are efficient and cost effective, to improve the profitability of the business
• Partnering with other business leaders to create operational efficiencies driving continuous improvements and growth initiatives, and leading financial analysis on capital projects while managing overall capital management processes at entity level
• Utilizing US generally accepted Accounting Principles and standards to record transactions in compliance with those requirements and company policies, while assessing the accounting requirements and objectives to determine the implications on the business and communicating to stakeholders with varying financial knowledge
• Financial Planning, Analysis and Forecasting by utilizing financial forecast data to provide projections to facilitate decision making and validate assumptions to provide forecasts that align to the organization’s goals and strategies
• Coaching and mentoring all entity finance staff; assigning work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assessing performance and providing feedback to direct reports
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent to Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification
• A minimum of 6 years of significant and relevant professional work experience, including managerial and budgetary experience in an operations manufacturing or distribution center environment
• Experience with strategic support and transformation projects, along with coaching and development of financial analyst
• Experience managing monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes and leading finance communication across a large entity, also developing and presenting financial analysis to business partners

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
