Part-Time PFLAG SF Part-Time Bookkeeper/Operations Specialist Consultant
Job Description
PFLAG San Francisco is seeking the specialized services of an independent contractor bookkeeping and operational assistance, which will enable the volunteer non-profit board of directors to pursue the organization’s mission to create a caring, just, and affirming world for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
BOOKKEEPING DUTIES
-Process incoming bank transactions on a monthly basis, coding to the appropriate account in Quickbooks.
-Reconcile bank accounts monthly, update relevant data to Quickbooks.
-Prepare monthly and quarterly reports requested by Treasurer, including P&L and Balance Sheet.
-Assist to the preparation of annual filing reports.
OPERATIONS SPECILAST DUTIES
-Maintain and update PFLAG SF website
-Maintain CRM tool, Springly and such ad hoc membership reports
-Support execution of MailChamp communication as necessary
-Develop and maintain documentation of operational processes
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
-Familiarity with the basic operations of software and IT systems for non-profits
-Familiarity with the basic s of accounting and bookkeeping for non-profits
-Excellent communication skills and attention to details
-Self-starter and able to work independently
Budget/Time Estimate
-Salary $25 an hour
-Initial workload: 60-80 hours to become familiar with the bookkeeping and to consolidate back-end-systems ($1,000-$2,000)
-Ongoing workload: Estimate 10-15 hours/month ($250-$375/month)
