Location: Flexible (Carlsbad, CA) –  This role is requires proximity to an office location with flexibility to work remotely 2-3 days/week with manager approval

GoPro is seeking a results-driven, Performance Marketing Senior Specialist who will own our subscription strategy on retaining, engaging and cross-selling our global subscribers to GoPro products, along with a large focus on mobile marketing strategy and execution. The ideal candidate is an individual who can bring his/her expertise about Performance Marketing to the table, comes up with fresh ideas to move business objectives forward and can work well independently in a matrixed environment.

 

What You Will Do

  • Manage channel-holistic subscriber journey strategy and execution for GoPro and Quik subscriptions, driving engagement, retention and cross-sell/up-sell goals
  • Own the mobile channel strategy, act as the resident expert within the Performance Marketing team who will advise peers and help develop highly performing mobile InApp and push notification tactics
  • Define, benchmark, monitor and optimize success KPIs that achieves business goals
  • Grow close relationships with Product Marketing, Software Product and Engineering teams to ensure marketing and product teams are aligned on objectives, strategies and requirements
  • Use a data-driven approach to test, report on results, apply learnings and optimize KPIs
  • Partner with other cross-functional teams such as Digital Creative, Integrated Marketing, E-Commerce, Product Marketing, etc.
  • Stay ahead and anticipate the impact of mobile ad tech industry changes and Performance Marketing best practices

 

Skills We’re Excited About

  • 4-5 years of experience managing 1-to-many marketing tactics and campaigns such as email, mobile, SMS, focused on customer journeys and ideally working in a customer-centric organization
  • 1-2 years of experience executing mobile marketing campaigns including InApp and push notifications
  • Prior experience using marketing automation, customer data platforms and conversion tracking and reporting tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Proven record of driving KPIs aggressively, taking a data-driven approach by default
  • Energetic and well-organized multitasker who is comfortable switching from strategy to execution on a daily basis
  • Able to work independently and proactively
  • Ego-free team player who enjoys bringing other team members along and sharing knowledge
  • Excellent communicator with a talent for telling compelling stories and an ability to adapt their message to various internal audiences
  • Excellent grasp of Performance Marketing best practices
  • Must be able to work Pacific Daylight Time hours
