Full-Time Performance Marketing Manager
Job Description
Sparklight’s Marketing team is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to drive subscriber and revenue growth for the Business Services division. Your day will consist of generating inbound calls and guides the Inside Sales Center through strategic planning, development, and execution of organic and paid digital, traditional direct mail, email and other offline campaigns.

What You Will Do:
- Use data to drive marketing campaigns from planning to execution and beyond to meet key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with external agency partners to plan, develop, and execute digital and direct mail campaigns; continually improve Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and optimize conversion on Sparklight Business’ digital properties.
- Allocate and optimize marketing budgets to maximize Cost per Acquisition (CPA) and efficiently scale new customers and upsell existing customers.
- Collaborate with internal sales, operations and finance partners to review, plan, and develop marketing offers and promotions to drive incremental revenue.
- Research competitors and their strategies to find opportunities and threats, and develop tactics and campaigns to retain customers and grow market share.
- Develop marketing plans and creative briefs to define program objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPI), key messaging and positioning, audience purchase initiatives, and competitive advantages.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university with primary study in Marketing, business administration or related field or an Associate’s Degree with 2 years experience in Marketing.
- Experience with business-to-business acquisition marketing position in digital and traditional direct response campaigns.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) experience is required.
- 3 or more years experience with building and scaling acquisition programs that target small businesses.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to understand and monitor web analytics dashboards and reporting tools.
- Knowledge and prior usage of tools like Google AdWords, Facebook Ad Manager and SEO tools.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience using content management software such as Drupal.
- Ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence others preferred.
- Presentation skills preferred.
