The People Systems Manager is responsible for managing HRIS and related People Team applications, leading all Workday projects in partnership with People Team stakeholders that support organizational and departmental goals and strategic initiatives. Responsible for all aspects of People systems at GoPro, primarily Workday, but including our LMS, ATS and others. They will provide day-to-day analytical and administrative support to the entire People Team and be responsible for People Systems project management, and future development activities, including system upgrades and the implementation of additional applications and functionality.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate and integrate systems projects within People Team in accordance with established standards and best practices.
- Maintain standard project management documentation and metrics with limited direction. Work directly with internal client counterpart, and other program functional owners, to deliver successful project implementation and manage scope.
- Responsible for system configuration, data auditing, system maintenance and quality control for the various systems required for People Team.
- Develop guidelines and ensure proper communication and testing for all system changes prior to release to a production environment.
- Provide training to People Operations team, Business Partner team and end user training as necessary. Contribute to knowledge management capital through activities such as sharing documented lessons learned, documented deliverables, and facilitation of Workday Workshops
- First point of contact for People systems related issues/questions and for functional owner support. Analyze all system issues and recommend solutions in timely fashion.
- Fully support functional teams in annual processes (merit, bonus, open enrollment, etc.)
- Manage vendor relationships and consultant resources.
- Maintain supporting documentation and materials for systems.
- Build, maintain and troubleshoot integrations.
- Administer business processes, security policies and workflows.
- Create and maintain centralized reports, dashboards, and analytic solutions.
- Responsible for producing quarterly SOX reporting.
Skills We’re Stoked About
- 2 years minimum of Workday experience
- 2 years minimum previous project management experience required including scope and requirements definition, problem solving and process improvements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with HR processes including payroll, benefits and employment changes
- Familiarity with integrations. Ability to create simple integrations in Workday a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, strong Excel skills
- Strong technical and analytic skills
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize work and multi-task
- Maniacal attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users
- Ability to work in a team environment with little to no supervision
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure proper use of HR information
