People & Culture Business Partner
As an organization with a flat management structure, you’ll get exposure to senior leaders from Day 1. You’ll be involved in impactful People programs throughout the year to include focus groups from engagement surveys, compensation reviews, promotions, performance evaluations, talent reviews and calibrations. We’re looking for someone who can act as a strategist, coach, culture carrier and positive change agent. Full-time Fixed Term Contract – 11 months (~ October 20, 2025 to early September 2026).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of consistent practices across the EMEA region (France, Ireland, and the UK), ensuring full compliance with local labor laws. You will play a key role in fostering legal and cultural alignment across regions to support effective collaboration.
- Build relationships with leaders and employees to offer thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy and execution to align people priorities accordingly.
- Apply expertise in the following areas: performance management, career planning, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, complex employee relations issues, learning and development, and recognition programs.
- Support the Payroll Manager as the regional contact for any employee escalated matters related to EMEA and North America;
- You will support internal regional communication to ensure employees are kept informed and motivated.
- Be the champion for inclusion efforts and events to ensure Fluent is striving to be as diverse, inclusive and equitable as possible at all times.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- Full proficiency in English and in French.
- Strong knowledge of French labor law.
- Experience and proven results in an Business Partner role, creating measurable impact on a major business unit in a high-growth technology company across EMEA.
- 8+ years experience preferably supporting higher level leaders
- Experience dealing directly with Work Councils and Performance Management processes.
- CIPD qualified or working towards qualifications (UK candidates)
- Excited and passionate about making an impact and tackling business challenges.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills moving regularly between the tactical and strategic priorities.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and balance collaboration and communication with multiple stakeholders across various departments and functions.
- Ability to act with integrity and ethics in handling confidential information.
- Ability to work autonomously and make timely, effective, people-first decisions.
