Job Description
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Patent Engineer to join our team specializing in Patent Engineering for our CES Engineering Group in Columbus Indiana/your home office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Manages, develops, and implements programs composed of multiple cross functional projects. Partners with key business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion.
• Leads multiple cross• functional projects that may comprise a program from inception to completion
• Work with business and functional leaders to define tangible and measurable business outcomes and to lead the program achieving those business outcomes.
• Identifies, tracks, and works with others to resolve project issues.
• Plans and monitors project budget, conducts research and analysis; provides input into the design and development of project plans and timelines.
• Ensures that project documentation is complete; monitors measures and communicates with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignments
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Partner with the Legal, Finance, Business, and Engineering functions to establish and implement the key elements of the IP management framework across CES.
• Provide support for joint development and and IP licensing programs, including identifying relevant IP portfolios, developing IP and technology programs, asserting and monetizing to maximize commercial benefits for CES.
• Qualified individuals must be able review and understand patents to the product
• Bachelor’s Degree is Required
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
