CIC is looking for a welcoming and customer service oriented team member to support the day-to-day responsibilities of our Concierge in Cambridge. This is a part time opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, activated environment. Starting wage for this position is $17/hr for approximately 25 hours/week. Applicants must be available to work Monday-Friday, from 8am-1pm.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
This person will join our Concierge Team, and the responsibilities include:
.
• Staffing the front desk, especially during peak morning hours, lunch breaks, scheduled times, or full-time Concierge absences.
• Representing CIC as the first friendly face to clients, guests, and visitors while at the desk.
• Interacting with guests and clients in person and on the phone, in a courteous manner by displaying a pleasant and gracious personality even under stressful situations.
• Ensure guests, clients, and vendors are adhering to COVID safety best practices as applicable.
• Prioritizing positive guest interactions and client needs first, then project work as time allows.
• Helping keep Concierge running smoothly and efficiently by assisting with recurring organizational tasks.
• Utilizing our Virtual Concierge system when appropriate.
• Contributing to team projects that help streamline Concierge trainings, resources, and responsibilities, while helping CIC grow as a whole.
• Collaborating with other members of Concierge who are responsible for the front desk and mail/package experience.
• Occasionally traveling to our Boston Campus to staff Concierge during full-time Concierge absences. This is expected no more than 20 days per year.

• Independence, reliability, and willingness to learn.

• Availability to work each weekday morning with an 8am start time.
• The ability to focus and thrive in a hustling and bustling lobby environment.
• A highly detail-oriented and organized work style with solid time management skills.
• An efficient and focused approach to daily tasks, and able to self-direct additional work when appropriate.
• Comfort with fluctuating lobby temperatures during the winter months.
