JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION
Responsible for development and implementation of plans and strategies to ensure the growth, viability, and financial success of Black Knight’s OTA (Origination Technology Agnostic) division.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Performs analytical, financial, and strategic analyses for potential market or partnership opportunities.
* Develop, nurture, and drive revenue from third party vendor relationships that integrate with our suite of OTA products.
* Creates competitive intelligence analyses with ongoing monitoring of the capabilities, development pipelines, and products of companies targeted for ongoing or potential future partnerships/acquisition or of competitors.
* Develops business cases and/or business plans in the evaluation of potential new market or partnership opportunities to ensure sound business judgment for the deployment of corporate capital.
* Organizes and presents evaluation findings to all levels of management verbally or in writing.
* Works closely with product development, marketing, sales, and finance to coordinate activities that ensure success in the marketplace.
* May mentor or supervise others in the department.
* Manages budgeting and financial forecasting, and achieves forecasted financial results for assigned cost centers.
* May require travel up to 25%
* Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Thorough knowledge of Black Knight products and services
* Professional work experience at a mortgage collaborative is highly preferred
* Ability to develop strategies and campaigns to create leads for our OTA sales team
* Strong expertise in business development, specifically for the mortgage and/or technology industry
* Skill to budget and forecast financial performance
* Ability to analyze market and clients’ business needs and determine related data processing requirements
* Ability to satisfy market and client needs and concerns and represent company’s best interest
* Ability to be effectively interact with all levels of personnel and management across technical and business functions across Black Knight and the clients’ or partners’ organizations
* Ability to utilize solid decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Ability to demonstrate an established track record of involvement in industry trade groups
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of verbal and/or written information
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public

Business Development Analyst III
Advanced professional role. Highly skilled with extensive proficiency. Develops large and/or complex solutions that require analysis and research. Works on multiple projects as a project leader or frequently as the subject matter expert that require increased skill in business development analysis, process modeling, project management, and financial analysis with demonstrated knowledge across multiple analytical areas and business segments. Coaches and directs the work of more junior analysts. Works under minimal supervision on complex projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires five (5) or more years of experience in an analytical and/or problem-solving role.
