JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION
The Origination Technology Advocate III is responsible for partnering with the client to develop and resolve processing, operational, and network infrastructure solutions. Works on a Client-Dedicated team providing technical direction while guiding the client through the implementation and overall support of Black Knight Lending Solutions and Or igination Technology products. Participates in 24×7 rotational on-call support.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Communicates technical terms to business lines and act as a liaison between the client and internal Black Knight Client Support teams
* Works directly with a client to identify and resolve operational issues, to solve problems or make decisions requiring technical expertise or specialized knowledge
* Elicits and clearly defines client needs by assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential business solutions.
* Understands and focuses on the clients’ needs while establishing credibility and building relationships with clients
* Elicits and clearly defines client needs by assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential business solutions.
* Provides complex and/or specialized business function/end-user support
* Works individually or within a team on technology business consulting projects to meet specific client requirements.
* Serves as liaison between end-users and the information technology organization consultants during IT and technology consulting projects.
* Expertly researches and documents client needs, technology, or regulations related to system design, enhancement, acquiring hardware or software that will impact multiple platforms and/or applications.
* Devises and/or modifies processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and to solve the most complex business process problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
* Acts as team leader for technical aspects of consulting projects, leading sub-plans or small projects. May mentor, guide, advise and/or check the work of less experienced business consultants
* Performs other related duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES
* Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
* Prior Mortgage Originations experience required
* Functional knowledge in one or more of the following area(s) preferred:
– Black Knight Origination Technology products (Empower, Expedite, Exchange, Motivity, Ernst)
– Black Knight Lending Solutions applications
* Experience with XML & SQL

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Ability to understand and focus on the clients’ needs while establishing credibility and building relationships with clients
* Familiarity with Black Knight products and services preferred
* Advanced knowledge of methods, tools, and technology used to carry out tasks necessary to prepare business assessment deliverables
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to non-technical and technical audience members
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients and the public
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 preferred
* Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies
* Ability to perform analysis, solid decision-making and problem solving skills
* Ability to use effective listening skills to develop understanding of user questions or problems
* Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
* Ability to establish and manage priorities effectively
* Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills and manage conflict
* Willingness to travel and work at client locations, sometimes for extended periods of time

IT Business Consultant III
Advanced level role. Possesses a broad understanding of developing and resolving operational solutions and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to internal and external clients. Supports several moderately to highly complex projects. Works with business partners across multiple business functions to identify and resolve operational issues, to solve problems or make decisions requiring technical expertise or specialized knowledge. Displays significant knowledge of the business area to resolve problems on an ongoing business. Generally works on multiple projects at a time as a project team member, and occasionally as a project team leader. Typically requires six (6) or more years of experience in a relevant business analysis/consulting role and demonstrated experience as the project team leader for a large project.
