JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION
The Origination Sales Automation Manager guides and leads sales support activities, to include sales revenue goals, lead generation, strategies and objectives.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provides leadership for area of sales automation support, including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development, and mentoring.
* Plays an integral role in the sales process utilizing knowledge of products (Dynamics, Outreach and/or Consensus) and their capabilities to assist sales executives in identifying prospect clients through means of sales automation techniques.
* Monitors sales performance metrics and works with sales support and Sales Executives to implement goals and build sales campaigns.
* Directs resources in a cost-effective, innovative manner including assisting sales teams in effective use of resources and tools.
* Establishes operational objectives and work plans.
* Collaborates with sales management in developing, modifying and executing sales policies, goals, strategies and objectives to achieve objectives.
* Provides support to sales teams including lead generation, presentations, RFP processes, prospect assessment, contract administration and sales production analysis.
* Participates in identifying critical market segments through market research and competitor analyses.
* Monitors client survey results to ensure positive client relationships and satisfaction and responds to any negative criticism.
* Implements and executes sales support policies and practices.
* Plans, coordinates and schedules sales support meetings.
* Prepares sales production reports for senior management.
* Encourages staff to participate in product/service as well as industry related educational opportunities to strengthen and improve skill levels and ability to service customers.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL GUIDELINES
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
* Requires strong management, organizational, team building, coaching and mentoring skills
* Requires strong business skills, industry knowledge (mortgage/financial services), financial management and planning skills, long-term vision, and executive presence
* In-depth knowledge of sales automation/engagement software such as Consensus, Outreach, etc.
* Requires expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner including presentations
* Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner
* Skill in productivity, planning, and workload management
* Requires solid decision-making and problem-solving skills
* Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel and management across technical and business functions across Black Knight as well as client/partner organizations
* Ability to identify, address and resolve employee related issues
* A fair amount of travel may be required
Sales Support Manager
Mid-level managerial role. Manages a portion or specific discipline of sales support activities within the division with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet sales support objectives. Provides guidance to team members within latitude of established company policies. Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect group. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Follows processes and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and results. Acts as advisor to team members in meeting sales support objectives and/or resolving problems. Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements, and may have budget responsibilities. Ty pically requires a minimum of six (6) years of management experience as well as experience in a sales related discipline.
