We are looking for a highly motivated Manager, Opto-mechanical Engineering to join our team!
Position Summary Grow and manage a team of opto-mechanical design engineers to design, integrate, test, and transfer to production complex, reliable high speed imaging systems.
How You’ll Contribute
- Manage a local and remote team of opto-mechanical engineers to own the design of a complex high speed imaging system
- Use your expertise in precision mechanics to mentor junior engineers and oversee the design process, from requirements to final testing.
- Work with vendors and machine shops to ensure quality and reliability of parts
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Masters or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline with 7+ years of related experience
- At least 5 years of experience executing on precision mechanical design assemblies
- 1-3 years of managerial experience
- Experience in managing engineers during a product development cycle
- Expert knowledge of Solidworks or equivalent design software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
