Position Purpose
| Provide engineering support for the installation, maintenance and operation of control and communication equipment used in Advanced Distribution Management System applications, SCADA, advanced metering, narrowband & cellular mobile radio systems, and other OT systems. Provide technical support of field personnel during the operation and maintenance of OT systems and associated field equipment and software applications. |
Principal Accountabilities

| 50% | Apply diversified knowledge of engineering and operational principles and practices associated with the installation, maintenance and operation of OT systems. Provide technical support to field personnel to ensure proper construction and maintenance of equipment and systems including: · Evaluate and analyze performance of OT systems including ADMS applications and their associated communications systems. · Interpret and analyze periodic maintenance inspection and performance data and develop recommendations to address equipment and system performance issues. · Maintain equipment maintenance schedules and perform database management of OT systems. Work with field technicians and Engineering personnel to troubleshoot equipment and system issues. |
| 25% | Develop and maintain schedules for construction and maintenance activities. Ensuring accurate and timely completion of all necessary testing and maintenance forms. Recommend capital improvement projects as needed to address equipment and/or system performance deficiencies. |
| 15% | Manage software and firmware updates of all OT equipment and systems. Provide technical assistance and training to field personnel and to personnel in other departments. Participate in cybersecurity vulnerability reviews and implementation of remedial actions of OT systems and software. |
| 10% | Manage narrowband and cellular mobile radio systems used by Electric Operations. |
Qualifications
| · Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or relevant equivalent area of study · Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in OT engineering or related positions · Strong analytical ability, technical aptitude and computer skills · Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license based on the requirements of the state where the employee resides · Must be available during system emergencies |
