- Distill large volumes of information about a variety of issues to create relevant, succinct executive summaries, briefings and presentations for the team and DO
- Conduct preliminary review and provide initial feedback on internal RNT governance documents including quarterly reviews, biannual program plans, annual Concepts of Execution (CoEs), and Regional Strategies – particularly consistency between CoEs and Regional Strategies, and internal consistency within the CoE
- Prepare talking points and coordinate logistics for speaking engagements on behalf of the Director or other RNT members as requested
Business Development (30%):
- Conduct outreach to DoD, academic, technology, and venture partners at the direction and under the guidance of the Director of Operations
- Work closely with the At-Large Regional Director(s) to conduct outreach to DoD offices primarily in the National Capital Region

- Source curated problem sets tailored to individual customer needs and technology verticals to facilitate placement into NSIN programs
- Initiate discovery calls, understand potential sponsors’ needs and priorities, identify possible NSIN program alignment, set up follow-up call to introduce relevant program manager and scope the problem statement for placement into an NSIN program
Administration (10%)
- Onboard new RNT members
- Maintain the health of enterprise platforms and equities contained therein
- Support for producing enterprise support documents, such as Weekly Activities Reports for senior DoD leadership, under the director of the Director of Operations

About Your New Team:
NSIN is a U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) organization with the mission to build networks of innovators that generate new solutions to national security problems. NSIN does this by building communities of non-traditional defense problem solvers from the academic and venture communities, exposing these communities to national security problems through direct interaction with DoD end users, and supporting the further development and transition of these solutions into the DOD. The principal way in which NSIN achieves its mission is through three mutually supporting portfolios of programs: National Service, Collaboration, and Acceleration. NSIN’s Regional Network Team will be physically located in more than 35 different locations throughout the United States and is responsible for building the new communities of problem-solvers through which NSIN executes its programs.
NSIN’s commitment to diversity and an inclusive work environment extends beyond our network to our team. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, parental status, or other non-merit factors.
