The Operations Accounting Analyst is a highly visible position working with all levels within ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages. The incumbent is a highly-motivated individual with strong communication, analytical and decision-making skills. The Operations Accounting Analyst will support or lead activities around operations finance, FP&A, month-end, financial reporting, productivity, internal controls, procedure documentation and process improvements.

Responsibilities Include:

· Support all DCs annual planning and regular forecasting process – consolidate and provide historical actuals comparison by profit center, cost center and g/l account

· Work with DCs to ensure completion of month-end close activities including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and reporting. Work with Business Managers to make sure they are trained and completing entries Accurately & Timely.

· Prepare monthly variance analysis templates / reporting by location comparing actual results to budget and prior year – work with Business Managers to add commentary.

· Monthly DC and Fleet cost center reporting review and analyses

· Monthly inventory reporting and analysis by location

· Assist with physical inventory process and provide reconciliations between book vs. physical count and adjustments

· Business Process Improvement. Review of Operations to seek opportunities in the areas of expense reduction and cost control.

· Dunnage reporting and Communication with DC’s to ensure we are properly recording GR’s and timely receiving proper credits for returned Dunnage.

· Liaison between BSNA Accounts Payable and our DC’s to Review, Investigate, and Resolve discrepancies.

· Investigate and Resolve A/P Short Pays with our Coca-Cola Sourcing Vendors. Work with DC’s to ensure we are following proper internal procedures to support any Invoices that we may short pay. Making sure we are Properly completing PO’s, GR’s, and BRFs on a Timely Basis.

· Understanding of the Route Settlement Process. Work with Business Managers to make sure we have adequate internal Controls in place and to ensure our controls are being followed. Working with BM’s to ensure all out of balance deposit issues are resolved (Develop and Review reporting).

· Work with DC’s to ensure timely review of open PO’s and resolution of issues so that vendors are paid timely

· Analyze trends and provide comparative analysis to recommend changes to improve business profitability and cash flow

· Monthly reporting of operations key performance indicators

· Assist with documentation of DC level process narratives and ensure internal controls are in place within the appropriate business cycles – identify risks as needed

· Assist with external audit requirements and requests related to the DCs

· Develop effective partnerships with all departments and locations across the organization

· Participate in cross functional teams to pursue opportunities and problem solve

· Communicate financial operations analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience to support the decision-making process

· Perform ad hoc assignments, projects and analyses as needed

Position Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

· 5 – 7 years of finance, accounting or related business experience required

· Proactive and continuous-improvement oriented mindset

· Strong financial analysis, collaboration, business partnering and influencing skills

· Strong written and communication skills

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects with high quality of work outcomes

· Intermediate to advanced knowledge MS Office applications required

· SAP experience preferred
