SALARY: $25,752.00

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
Duties and Responsibilities
The Office Specialist – Business Services is directly accountable to the Executive Director of Finance & Accounting for the following duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain daily log for incoming checks, stamp each check for deposit only, and provide checks to the Financial Services office to be cashiered and deposited.
- Complete monthly payroll duties to include receiving and sorting time sheets, vendor and retiree invoicing, payroll certifications, and tracking of part-time hours.
- Prepare Graphic Services monthly service billing.
- Reconcile completed Purchasing Card transactions to the monthly statement and maintain appropriate filing system.
- Provide administrative support to include official correspondence, requisitions, and invoicing.
- Stock and maintain necessary office supplies and forms.
- Maintain routine and confidential filing system.
- Greet and assist visitors to Building 310.
- Distribute office mail.
- Assist daily with payroll processing.
- Work with Accountants on special projects assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Complete annual mandatory compliance training.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- One (1) to three (3) years clerical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of office procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Skilled in telephone etiquette with excellent customer service techniques.
