Full-Time NPBU Service Engineering – Technical Specialist (Livermore, CA)
Job Description
We are looking for a talented NPBU Service Engineering- Technical Specialist to join our team specializing in Engineering for our New Power Business Segment in the Livermore, CA market.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* This role is for onsite support at the Gillig factory located in Livermore CA, supporting commissioning of the NPBU BEV powertrain
* This role is responsible for rapid response to identify and address plant quality and or product quality issues prior to them leaving the OEM
* Additional responsibilities include supporting local California service providers and Cummins Care escalations
* The position will be a remote office with frequent trips to the GILLIG facility
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required
* 5-7+ years of Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making
* Prior experience working directly with OEM’s/Customers
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
