The IBH Counselor is responsible for providing culturally informed short-term therapy to referred patients, collaborate with Health Center providers and integrate care in order to support the overall wellness of each patient.
The ideal candidate has:
• Degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology
• Experience with short-term models of psychotherapy
• Ability to communicate well with people of diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to learn and apply clinical skills within the various Asian/Pacific Islander and Latino cultures of the local community
• Ability to possess and maintain a valid CA Driver’s License, must have suitable vehicle for agency travel and current automobile insurance.
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships as part of an integrated treatment team
