This is an exciting opportunity in Galesburg, MI for a Mechanical Systems Technical Specialist.

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
• Senior Mechanical Engineer designing and developing automotive drivetrain components
• Develop component design requirements, specifications, validation, and communication plans
• Lead technical structured problem solving projects
• Work with global teams to design and develop new drivetrain components

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required.
• 5+ years of Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making
• Prior work experience required that may include: designing gears, bearings, sensors or valves.
• Experience with tools that may include: MATLAB, Minitab, LabVIEW, nCode, Siemens Testlab, etc.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
